description: The purpose of this reference layer is to provide locations that may be prioritized during initial damage assessment efforts after a storm event. This polygon layer represents generalized areas in the County where flooding and/or storm damage have historically recurred. Layer created from the more detailed Flood_Prone_Areas layer, but more generalized for the primary purpose of using within CrisisTrack for damage assessment. Single, outlying RL (repetitive loss) parcels were omitted in several cases.
licenseInfo: This layer shows generalized areas that are historically known to flood, though the data is not necessarily comprehensive. The layer is updated as new information becomes available. To be used as a reference layer to prioritize potential flooded streets and/or property during damage assessment response efforts.
